Culture Creating Machines!
We have been looking at the ideas of “culture”, “civilization”, and “identity” in social studies and the grade 7s have been working hard at taking those ideas and creating their own culture. I have been loving all the different ways this project has allowed us to express our learning. We have read, brainstormed, summarized, researched, inferred from images, discussed, written, drawn, built, sculpted, “power pointed”, and there is more in the works.
Check out these planning and idea maps each group created about their culture.

We have another week left before presentations start next week and I am excited to see how each group decides to pull things together.
